A double fist pump! They are MARRIED!
I distinctly remember my first conversation with Christina and thinking to myself, “I really like this sweet new friend of mine!” Little did either of us know it would be the start of a sweet friendship that went deeper than wedding planning. Over the course of a year, Christina and Justin quickly became people I consider dear friends. From our first in person hangout sesh doing engagement pictures in Manhattan to a long weekend visiting and exploring NYC with them. These guys are so sincere and genuine with their love for each other and everyone in their lives.
Everyone was so happy and super excited to celebrate the precious, endearing love between Christina & Justin. Their wedding was hands down one of my very favorites. It was simply such a fun, stress free day, just like them.
Of course, there were so many moments throughout the day that I would love to share, but for time’s sake, I’ll share my very favorites. Christina and Justin chose to do a First Look and I definitely just added another first look moment to my favorites list. (Side note: I am hands down 100% with no shame a “hopeless romantic”. I just love when a groom gets all emotional and weepy when he sees his bride for the first time). Justin was tearing up before Christina and I even made it outside for their First Look. It was all kinds of precious. By the end of First Look, he was sobbing and of course he had me crying too. (lol)
The guests walked a gorgeous wooded pathway to the ceremony site that was tucked away in the woods. This ceremony was so beautiful, but what made it magical was the hanging three chandelier fixture suspended from the tree tops. The owner of Stone Mill Inn did all the design and landscaping himself and my, oh my, it is breathtaking. I can’t not speak highly enough of the owners and staff at Stone Mill Inn.
During the ceremony, Justin walked over to where Christina’s parents should’ve been sitting to drink beer out of beer can that was sitting in honor of her dad. Christina’s parents both passed away and though they were not able to be there physically, we all knew they were in Heaven looking down on Christina and Justin.
Last, but certainly not least, one thing I love about Christina and Justin — they LOVE TO DANCE! They chose to take dance lesson and learn a special first dance routine to their first dance song, “In Case You Didn’t Know” by Brett Young. Ya’ll…. this dance routine was serious first dance goals. It was full of fancy steps, twirling, dipping and lifting Christina in the air and spinning her around. (Cue more tears). After dinner, the reception dance party of LIT and it was so much fun to watch and participate. 🙂
What a day full of so much joy and fun!
Christina & Justin! It was the biggest privilege capturing your gorgeous, whimsical, fairytale wedding! Thank you for trusting me and asking me to be your wedding photographer! I can’t wait for more long weekends all together in NYC and Memphis!
