A Romantic, Candlelit High Cotton Wedding | Laura and Isaac | Memphis Fine Art Wedding Photographer

When I first met with Laura to chat about her wedding day, I was immediately drawn to her precious sweet, Southern spirit and thoughtfulness! She came to our little macaroon and coffee date with the cutest little “happy” for me. (I call them happy’s. Little, thoughtful gifts). Laura had done her homework (ie: watching my IG Stories and reading my posts) and discovered how much I love National Parks. I’m quite a NP nerd. No shame here. We both quickly discovered our mutual love for travel! She surprised me with an official National Park Passport book — seriously, the cutest gift. I cannot wait to go visit all the National Parks and fill up my book she gave me! This is just a hint at how thoughtful Laura is and how much attention she gives to details.

Laura and Isaac are some of the most hospitable people I have ever met! So down to earth, graceful and generous. They sure know how to love well the people in their lives. Getting to know them and capturing their wedding was a joy and such a privilege! They had an intimate, romantic candlelit ceremony and reception at the stunning High Cotton Brewery. It was absolutely beautiful! I was so impressed by Laura, who arranged all the florals for the wedding and again, paid so much attention to the details of the day!

Huge shoutout to them for being so willing to shoot so many portraits and (in three different locations, guys!) in the smoldering heat of the day! They had the biggest smiles on their faces the entire day. Laura & Isaac, thank you so much for asking me to be a part of your special day and trusting me to capture it! You guys are rockstars.

xoxo, Mary Kate
