A Weekend Getaway at the Fox House Treehouse in Nashville, TN | Lifestyle and Travel | Tennessee Wedding Photographer
Anyone else fascinated by treehouses?! I think they are just so cool and I’ve been dying to stay in one. Someday I would love to go out to Washington State and stay in one of the really big treehouses they have built out there! I’ve seen there are some pretty spectacular ones in Washington and South Carolina!
Over the summer, I stumbled upon this really cute, quaint tiny treehouse in Nashville, TN! I had no clue there was one so close that I just had to see about staying there! Luckily, it worked out and wow, ya’ll it was perfect! This sweet little abode is tucked away in a serene backyard, lights strung from the trees and house and a hammock hanging just over yonder.
When I stepped inside the sweet little oasis, it was like walking into a real life Anthropolgie catalog. It was absolutely darling. Scroll through the pictures to see what I am talking about! I think my favorite part of staying in the Fox House was laying still on the bed, staring outside the big window and just listening. Listening to the birds chirp, the frogs ribbit, the leaves wrestle in the trees and watching little yellow lights flicker in the dark from the hundreds of lightning bugs.
My favorite moment was falling asleep listening to an owl “hoo-ing” and reading steadily hitting the roof. It was so peaceful. The windows were cracked, the balcony door open and the light of the moon shining through. There was no TV or WiFi and limited cell service, forcing me to simply enjoy the world around me. I woke up the next morning to it still raining and outside the big treehouse window, I watched a gorgeous wild red fox tiptoeing across the way.
Needless to say, this darling place was just what my soul needed this Summer! Also, now I definitely need to get out to Washington and continue this treehouse adventure! Anyone else want to stay in a treehouse? Where would you want to go? Let me know in the comments!❤️
