A Mount Hope Farm Wedding | Mara & Tim

On a gorgeous September day at Mount Hope Farm, while watching a distant storm slowly roll in off the Atlantic ocean, Mara and Tim stood in front of their dearest friends and family and said "I do". The cool Rhode Island breeze and gentle warmth of the sun were the perfect touch to the best day. I got to know Mara and Tim through one of my brides, Nicole! Mara was in Nicole's wedding, which made this day even more fun! It was like a reunion of sorts.I cannot speak highly enough of Mount Hope Farm. Not only is the farm as picturesque as you can imagine, but the staff are so sweet, accommodating and well organized. In addition, it is also not a far drive to Newport, RI, which is storybook idyllic.Mara did an amazing job adding the sweetest details into their day. I love that my brides really consider the overall theme, style and color palate of their wedding. Firstly, well thought out details that flow and compliment each other really elevate the look and aesthetic of your day. Secondly, your wedding photographer will be head over heels in love with photographing those details. I remember walking into the reception, seeing all the pops of yellow lemons, the blue cheesecloth table runners and simple white plate settings and my heart exploding. However, I bet you can't guess my favorite detail of the day? I will give you one hint; it includes a customized sketched portrait of Mara, Tim and their precious pup, Tato! If you scroll down far enough, you'll see glass bottles filled with the purest maple syrup. Isn't that the sweetest wedding guest favor? Pun intended. I thought that was such a unique and creative gift idea! Between the perfectly situated ceremony, the sound of water hitting the shoreline and a cool night in a big tent underneath a sky full of stars, Mara and Tim's wedding was such an idyllic New England summer wedding.
