This past week I had the pleasure of visiting Jekyll Island, GA, for the first time. A beautiful Spanish moss Oak tree driveway greeted us at the entrance of the island. Just down the lane and around the corner, the majestic Jekyll Island Club Resort peeked above the tree lined sky as we drove underneath all the hanging moss.

The Cliff House sits beautifully on the oceanfront of Bald Head cliff in southern Maine. It overlooks the ocean’s edge and the adorable Nubble Lighthouse. Standing on the edge of the cliff, you see and hear the ocean waves crashing as they hit the rocks down below.

As a destination wedding photographer, capturing a wedding at a new (to me) venue or location brings me so much joy and creative excitement! I think I can say that most wedding industry artists/vendors feel the same way. From time to time, when speaking with potential clients, the question of “have you shot (or worked) a wedding at my venue before?” will come up in our conversation. Georgetown, DC is such an adorable place! I was elated when Estefanie and Griffin made plans with me to take pictures in Georgetown! We were blessed with a beautiful, crisp morning and enjoyed walking around the residential area of Georgetown and admiring all the beautiful historical homes.
